Soap

For the young woman activity this week we made decorations on soap to give away as gifts. Some of the girls and leaders got really creative. Josie had the idea to use seashells (not pictured,) Jamie Neider's idea was to use leaves, and some of the girls used bottlecaps, coins and other little keepsakes. The majority of us used pictures. After putting the decor on, we dipped each bar in wax to seal the decor to the soap. When we were done we wrapped them in cellophane and tied them with raffia or twine. What a really cute and simple gift idea!

These were the ones I made. I think it looks really funny with only Shippy's chubby face on the bar of soap!
