Scarf Addicted

What am I going to make when winter's over? Here's another scarf made with verigated yarn. It turned out to be stripy with blues, purples, grays, and white. I was happy with the results even though I didn't expect it to look the way it did. Done with 16 pegs on the purple Knifty Knitter rectangular loom.

Me modeling the finished product. I look extremely happy about it, don't you think?

You have been one busy mom! I have tried making the bean bag thing with the plastic opening before but my sewing machine gets stuck on the fabric. Any ideas?

yes, i had the same problem at first! what you need to do is put a piece of tissue paper or a paper towel between the fabric and your needle. once it's sewed you can easily pull the tissue off the part you sewed. practice on some fabric you don't care about and then try it on your project. it takes a lot of time, because with the paper towel over it you can't really see what you're doing...so just go slow. good luck!

Thanks! I'll give it a try. I meant to say it gets stuck on the plastic. Do you put the tissue paper between the plastic and the fabric?...
