Vessel helped me make this 3-D card for Mother's Day (but it could be used for anything you want actually.) I found a bunch of scraps in my art bin and decided to put them together, and viola! The clouds, sun, and center of the sunflowers were made with felt. The petals of the flowers were made with plastic triangles and the grass with construction paper with little slits cut into it. Then I used colored pencils for everything else. The other side of the card (where you write the message) is made from white cardstock cut around the edges with scrapbooking scissors. This was fun to make and reminded me of art time back in elementary school!
