Baggy Bag

This is the most recent purse I've made. I have been altering the pattern to fit my personal preferences. I made this bag 3 inches smaller than the original. I quilted the brown flap with red thread using a stitch found on my friend's machine. I quilted the outside of the bag with brown thread just using a straight stitch. I really love how this one turned out and I'm excited to make some more, even though they are such a labor of love. For "normal" people, something like this would only take a few hours. But for an amateur sewer, like myself, it takes days!

This is the inside. I added magnetic buttons to keep the purse closed, which is something I hadn't done with the others I've made.

Woman you have some serious talent with that. I couldn't even sew a pillow case in the 7th grade.
