Stuff We've Made

Finger puppets are an easy thing to make for kids. The idea for these came from one of my Japanese student Eri's mother. These were made out of gloves that you can find at most hardware stores, felt cloth, beads, and ribbon. We sing "This little piggy" and "5 little chicks" (modified from "5 little ducks.")

I made this necklace about a month ago from khaki colored cotton cord, beads and wire.

I made my sister and myself matching necklaces from the elk teeth our dad gave us. Mine has red beads and Steph's has blue. I made the other necklace for my sister from white faux suede lace and round and square colored beads.

I recently made this necklace with brown cotton braiding cord, red beads from "String Beads" in Sugarhouse, and a Japanese 5 yen coin.

With a sewing machine and a pattern, I made this apron out of an old pair of jeans and some red trim. Now all I need to do is learn to enjoy cooking!
